Using TRV for underfloor heating?
Hello!
I currently have a setup with a bridge and 5 TRVs. However, we have moved into a new house that has 0 radiators, but 3 zones of underfloor heating (water based) - heated by a air-to-water heat exchanger. Currently the underfloor heating and the heat exchanger does not communicate in any way.
I would very much like to use Tado again in this house, and I was wondering if I could just attach
one TRV for each zone at the manifold, instead of the current system. Current system is Milton Megatherm Wireless. How will I know if the Tado TRVs could fit on the manifold?
To tell the TRV's if they should open or close, I was thinking I could pair them with 3 "Tado Wireless Temperature Sensor".
Would that work? (3 TRVs, each controlled by a Wireless Temperature Sensor?) Should I somehow use Wired Smart Thermostats instead of TRVs (I dont see how they could connect?)
I would also love to be able to control the heat exchanger with the Smart AC Control. However I dont have a remote (the heat exchanger is an old Pioneer, and remoted should be available used...)
