Why is my system coming on?

In the last week the control unit has decided to turn around midnight even though no programmes are active. This sets the pump running but the boiler doesn’t fire because nothing has been requested but the smart thermostat.

    My system includes multiple smart rad thermostats as well as the main control and wireless thermostat

    Is there some reason you think the Tado is doing it?

    The main control unit is lighting up for heating and hot water outside of hours when it is programmed to come on hence the what’s happening to it. I have had this with my sons rad coming on when not programmed to do so

    Do you have it linked to Alexa or HomeKit? Sometimes a schedule can be set there that you’re unaware of.

    What are you calling the 'main control unit'?
