Radiator covers and offsets

I have my Smart Radiator Thermostats on rads that are covered. So I am assuming I need to use the "Temp offset" to get a better idea of the temp in the room. Do I set them to minus or plus? Also I do have the Wireless Temp Sensor but can't seem to find a way to use this as the main temp sensor to control the heating. It is not mounted so can be moved from room to room as required but does not seem to turn off the heating when the desired temp is reached in the room. Can anyone help with the set up. Thanks

    You put the wireless temp sensor in the same room on the app as the trvs and set it as the measuring device. Don’t use any offsets.

    Thanks for your comment, but call me stupid I can't see a way of putting the WTS in the same room?

    Find the wireless temp sensor in settings > rooms and devices. Click on it, there should be an option to set which room it’s in.
