Leaking valve
Hey all
I’ve noticed that a few of my valves has small leaks. I’ve tried tightening them up by hand but I’m wondering if I need to use a wrench to do it instead?
Could there be any other reason for small leaks?
Cheers

On which side? The side with the trv heads on, or the other side (lock shield)?0

The side with the trv. There is water in the battery compartment!! Am I putting them on too loose?0

The Tado TRV is independant of the physical valve (previously fitted?). I suspect the problem must lie with the physical valve. How much you tighten the TRV is irrelevant as the water must be coming from the physical valve and leaking past the seal.

Unless you’re competent with plumbing I would get a professional in to replace your leaking trvs, it will only get worse.0

Thanks all, will look into that.0
