Part installation - poor comms to bridge

Hi, i've just started my Tado installation today, a little backwards - but internet bridge first, then ive installed all the TRV's before i have time next week to install the wireless Receiver to control the boiler.

However, i've installed 13 valves - only 3 show as connected on the App, no matter where i've tried the bridge in the house. The house is a very old (16C) cottage with a large 400m thick wall right down the middle - however, the TRVs it sees are either side of the wall.

Thats concerned me greatly, and now im not sure if to proceed with the rest of the installation or just return these as not fit for old houses.

Question is - does the Wireless Receiver need to be installed for the TRVs to get "full" signal?

    No, every Tado device needs to be in range of the bridge. As Tado doesn’t offer a range extender I’m afraid it sounds like your house may not be suitable.
