Installed TRVs but they are not working properly
I have replaced all radiators with smart thermostats. When I turn a selected room temperature to off, and the rest of the rooms on to eg 25, should that particular radiator not be turning cold and turning off?
Do I not understand the system or does the system not understand me? 😂
At the moment I want all rooms upstairs to be off and all rooms downstairs to be on the highest heat setting and have done this through the app however the upstairs is still turning on and heating up.
Early start is off disabled.

Hi Tahreem.
I think you are right I dont have a solution, but:
its always tricky to understand exactly from peoples description but something I missed on setup was that the rad thermo can call for heat itself, or be set to only heat when the zone controller (in my case thats my wired room thermostat) calls for heat. This doesnt answer your issue, unless there is a way that your upstairs thermostats are being overridden by the wireless thermostat downstairs in some way, but have feeling nosing around in those settings may help.
they are in the app. click in the 'greater than' symbol (arrow) next to the NAME of the room thermo (ie NOT the 'smart room thermostat' ) and SCROLL DOWN on the page it reveals.
all very hidden..

Hello,
Thanks for the info. Yes, I did find all those settings and have tweeked them. I'm just gonna have to trail and error at the moment. As I noticed this morning that I had my schedule to heat up upstairs and upstairs was nice and toasty and downstairs stayed off however when I came down and did the opposite. The app showed downstairs heating up and the temp upstairs increased to 24 as well even though upstairs remains off in the app. The heaters are hot. I have 5 upstairs. 1 in one bedroom, 2 in next bedroom. One in the hallway and 1 in bathroom. The bedroom with 2 on, only 1 turns on and the bathroom one responds to the app.
The rest are doing god knows 😂0
