Installation - no hot water tank

I have purchased the starter kit V3+ with hot water control. Unfortunately midway through installation, I have just realised I may have got the wrong model.

I don't have a hot water tank.
My boiler is a Worcester Greenstar 30si combi.
Can I still install the receiver or am do I need to repurchase?

I believe you can use the system you have.
Just configure the receiver to combi (yellow light, I think), and it will control CH only.

I have my system with a tank but the heat pump controls that. The tado controls on the CH although I still get the Hot Water icon on the app

@Forestberry that should work OK. We fitted it to the same model combi boiler. You should set the Tado wireless receiver mode to 'combi'.
