I have a wired room stat that turns the boiler on and off quite randomly when conditions are constant. It reads temp at 15c ok but as temp increases will over read so at 20c will read 25c. Can it be re-calibrated?

    The switching on/off is likely either the TPI or if you have OT set up, the boiler might be cycling. In other words, normal.

    I think on the other point, you're saying the stat is accurate at 15C but then seems to say a higher temp than it actually is? How are you measuring this delta?

    DM932187 With a mercury thermometer. I reset the t'stat and now seems to be ok :-} .
