V3+ radiator thermostats - temperature ring too stiff to turn.
I've recently installed 7 Tado smart radiator thermostats V3+ in my home. They are all working ok and I can control them easily with the app. My problem is that the manual temperature control ring is either very stiff or won't move on 5 of the 7. The other 2 work as expected. When I attempt to reduce the temperature by rotating the ring anti clockwise the whole valve body detaches from the mounting bracket. I can rotate the ring with 2 of the 5 but I have to hold the body to stop it from mounting bracket. I've checked the child lock in the app and every one has this disabled. I've tried to contact Tado via the live chat but this was a total waste of time. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and if yes what did you do to fix it? Also does anyone have a number I can contact Tado UK on or have an email address for their support team? I bought the Tado valve heads as they had the highest Which score but would not have done so if I'd known how difficult it is to contact them. Thanks.

The ring (at the top of the trv if mounted vertically) should rotate freely in either direction. If it doesn’t then it’s a faulty device. I’m afraid you’ll need to keep trying with Tado support.0
