Router light on Internet Bridge blinking (V3+)

Hello,

I just got a Tado system and am trying to set up my internet bridge. I've tried to connect it to 5 different routers and even got the TP-link switch Tado recommends... still it will not connect. It never worked.

What can I do from here? I cannot clear the Internet Bridge in my Tado app and start the pairing process again.

Does the internet bridge establish a stable connection to your router at all?

    • Did you try setting up a static IP address?
    • Can you do a simple ping test?

-> No, no internet connection at all. I cannot see it in the list of devices on the router. The ethernet ports light up though

It should appear as a 'wired connected terminal'

No IP address = no internet connection at all.

Try manual IP assignment & then ping the bridge.

Considering that 5 different routers gave up it may simply be faulty ;-(

  • Did you get a fix for this? I'm having the exact same issue, tried 2 routers and on both the "router" light keeps blinking. My eero router does not recognise the device is connected despite showing connnection speed, it's like the the device is unreadable.

  • I am having the same problem which has not been resolved despite all of TADO help suggestions.
