Wireless Starter Kit V3+ can it be wired?

I have an older V2 thermostat that I know can be used as a wired or wireless with the hot water/programmer replacement box.
My Sister is looking to buy a new V3+ on and I see 2 versions. The wireless one with hot water is on offer, but she has a combi boiler with a wired thermostat - does this new thermostat have the ability to be wired or is it specifically wireless.

The wireless starter kit comes with a ‘wireless temperature sensor’ which is exactly that. Looks like a smart thermostat but has no wiring terminals.1
