[Resolved] Just Purchased a V3+ Starter Kit, but has VA2 inside, instead of VA3?

Purchased a V3+ Starter kit from Amazon direct (link), that had an internet bridge + two smart TRV's.

Arrived yesterday, and noticed one of the TRV is VA3 while the other is VA2. I would have thought considering it's v3+, Tado would only be supplying the latest VA3 TRV's, that have the latest technology, as opposed to a mixture of the two?

This number is within the serial number of the devices.

Or, am I missing something?

Finally, is there a way I can request a swap to VA3 hardware instead - as I received a VA2 in a brand new, sealed box?

    Answer: For all those wondering, Do I have a VA01, VA02, VA03 or VA2, VA3 Tado Smart TRV?

    After looking into this further, and also speaking with Tado support (thank you, Sven), the serial number may start with VA2, VA3, VA4 etc. but the serial number does not correlate with the model number.

    For example, of the TRV's I currently have, one has serial number that starts with VA2, while another is VA3.

    To confirm which TRV model you actually have, check on the underside of the TRV, where it has the pairing button.

    It will clearly say the model code - i.e. Model VA02.
