What do I need for my house? Want a full setup with TRV but confused by my current setup
Looking for some advice on what I need please. I have a Victorian 3 level terrace and am looking to heat individual rooms instead of the whole thing.
Here is what I have:
Worchester Combi bolier
Honeywell 2 channel programmer - 1 zone underfloor in heating in kitchen, other zone the rest of the house
2 honeywell wireless thermostat - 1 in kitchen, 1 rest of house
Lots of very old radiators
Kitchen works wonderfully with the underfloor, but the rest of the house is either all on or off and the rooms differ wildly in temperature
I'm intrigued about changing the manual valves on the old radiators to thermostatic ones and then adding tado smart TRV to most of them so I can heat the rooms separately.
Would I simply need the starter kit v3, then the TRVs or is it more complex as I have the 2 channels and the underfloor?
Thanks
Pete

This doesn't answer your question, but may go some way to addressing your problem; if the room temperatures really do 'differ wildly', have you thought about balancing the radiators? You will need to do that anyway.

@limeyard Thank you. This does need doing but was done a couple of years ago. The difference in rooms is more that the house is old and was once broken into flats so there are small rooms with massive radiators and open spaces with none
Also the loft conversion is pretty poorly done so that room is always very cold
Having researched this some more, it looks like TADO does not work with zones anyway so I am a little stuffed; unless I control the underfloor with the current programmer and then wire TADO instead of the existing rest of the house zone. Beyond my understanding that one
