Beginners theory q for newborn

Hi everyone - I'm looking at 'tado-ising' my house by adding a wireless thermostat and smart TRV's in at least some of the main areas at first. The major reason is that I've got a premature newborn in the house which has made me pretty paranoid about maintaining steady temperatures. In theory I want to be able to make sure our room and her nursery (both upstairs) stay warm while downstairs can drop lower. However does doing this require that I always take the main thermostat control upstairs with us at night? Because let's say Im happy for downstairs to get to 12 at night but i want the bedrooms at 17, if the thermostat is downstairs it won't come on unless it drops below 12. The smart TRV's upstairs, although set to 17, would be fully open with no warm water to let through. Am I missing something?

Thanks so much

@dilby the Tado system, with smart TRVs on your radiator valves, will let you keep individual rooms at the required temperatures at the scheduled times. These are individual zones (rooms). No need to move the ‘main’ thermostat at night; that’s a redundant concept. The limit is 10 zones that can call for heat, with up to 25 individual devices.

E.g. The bedrooms for our young grandchildren are scheduled to keep warm overnight 7pm to 6am (the TRVs call for heat) at 18 deg C, whilst the rest of the house is ‘off’ from 10pm to 6am.
