Resetting the system
I had the tado radiator valves working fine with my old honeywell controller. I added the thermostat and received in its' place but it was unreliable. Notably the thermostat (temperature monitor) acts a zone control so would limit the heat for the room it was in.
Anyways the receiver/thermostat combo seems a bit of a waste of money as there is nothing that my old programmer cannot do. So I removed them so we didn't have any more "What's Tado up to now" moments.
Now it won't pair with anything - I've reset the internet bridge and taken the batteries out of the rad thermostats.
Has anybody else had this issue where deleting things doesn't really seem to remove it for a new set up. The old TRV's will have to go back on now I guess.
