how to wire smart Tado wire thrmostat

Hello,

Tado advised me that I need a smart Tado wire thermostat


I bought it

I followed the instructions on the app.

I cannot go on with the installation if I do not choose an option on the app A, B or C option

there are 5 wires mentioned in the instructions

I have only 4 wires

I asked Tado this question, but

unfortunately, I have not received an answer as yet.

Which one should I choose

I have attached

the pictures got from appt and the pictures of my thermostat

    Hi,

    Option C.

    You only need the wires from 1 and 3, the others go to P.

  • 1.    I asked for advice on what Tado products I need for my house heating system control

    2.    Tado advised me: “you’ll need the following tado° devices:

    -       1 x Add-on - Wireless Temperature Sensor

    -       1 x Add-on - Wireless Receiver [Programmer with Hot Water Control”

    3.    I purchased them as advised.

    4.    I asked the advice on how to install it, and Tado said:

    “The problem with your system is that you need to replace the room thermostat with a tado° Wired Smart Thermostat, not a Temperature Sensor.

    Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding and I sent you the incorrect device.

    If you bought tado° through our website, we’re happy to provide you with a free return voucher (within 30 days of your receipt of the devices).”

    I bought some of the devices from Tado.

    5.    I bought a Wired Smart Thermostat as advised by Tado.

    6.    I asked the advice on how to install it, and I asked this question on Tado Community.

    I received no helpful advice.

    7.    I hired an electrician who installed the Wireless Temperature Sensor

    Conclusion:

    As is easily seen, I was left with Wired Smart Thermostat

    “Tado” is very aware of this situation and apologised

    “Tado” does not want to take any responsibility and refund me for the device “Wired Smart Thermostat” that I purchased as Tado recommended.

    I bought some of the devices from Tado.

    I want to stress that the main problem is not regarding the money and the stressful time when I could not control the house heating system and when I was left in the cold.

    It is more about a principle.

    Tado advised me on what to buy and how to control my house heating system.

    This advice was wrong.

    Tado advised me again what to buy and did not answer the question of how t install it. There are no clear instructions on how to install the Wired Smart Thermostat.

    I hired a professional and solved the problem very simply.

    I wasted money on something that I did not need.

    Of course, “Tado” will get away with this story. I am not interested in making a formal complaint or asking for advice from Ombudsman.
