Energy iq adding readings
Hi,
So I have my last 12 month meter reading and just noticed the energy iq is in meter cube or kwh and my meter is cu ft so I have converted cu ft to Kwh and added all my readings, I have also added previous tariff rates and the current one.
Seems I have it all complete to track my usage and costs but I'm getting crazy prices and usage figures just wondering if it takes a few hours to update after adding the figures?
My tariff is 10.327p per kWh am I right thinking this is entered as 0.10327 ?

My figures are still incorrect, my meter readings, 23281kwh for the 1st Dec and 23332kwh for the 9th Dec giving a difference of 51kwh used.
51kwh x 10237p (tariff rate) is £52 ish.
Energy iq is showing 314.81 kWh and a cost of £32.51 ??
Either my calcs are wrong or tado needs a calculator.0 -

Yesterday the month was going to cost £185. Today the month is going to cost £30. It's even more wrong than before.
Care and protect is now showing 0 hours for heating today. Yesterday and for most of the last month it's being showing 16-18 hours a day of heating. Neither are anywhere near the actual amount.

I hope Tado will come with some kind of automatic input in combination with Home Assistant, Domoticz and other systems.1

So I’m commenting on a different chat but myself and @Gruffell have lost all energy readings for the last few days. Not sure what is going on but needs fixing1

Mine is just not working at all. Shows as “your consumption is being generated. This may take up to 24 hours”. It’s been showing this for a couple of days.
It seemed to be working before for a couple of days after turning the feature on. Hadn’t got so far as to figuring out how accurate it was.
But now, nothing. It just seems completely broken.0 -

So I got intouch with tado support giving screenshots of my meter readings usage over the last 12 month, tariff rate and a screenshot of the December usage, explaining that energy iq is not calculating the usage correctly or at all.
Tado support replied with the following:
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Please remove any readings that you have that are not heating mete readings. Because of this the Energy iq reading is not accurate.

Not sure what they mean, is it due to the summer months where no heating was used so them months should be inputted as zero? Although I have used gas consumption other than heating via hot water and a gas hob? But then the months when I have used the heating will include the usage of hot water and gas hob.
I only have one main gas meter and probably sure 99% of users are the same, are they assuming there is sub meters installed to measure gas consumption on every gas appliance so it can be subtracted from the main gas meter leaving a figure purely for heating consumption?

Thanks for getting back to us.
Seems that there is an error in the system that causes the reading to be higher. The technical department is aware of this and are looking into it and it will be resolved as soon as possible.

It's back but claiming I've used half of what my smart meter thinks I've used this month.
