Radiators don’t turn off
Hi. I have a extension a single room temp sensor and a bridge. Had it all wired in by my electrician Thursday (after having it sat on a shelf for 2 years) It was replacing another wireless thermostat.
The issue I have is - I have set all the zones and temperatures. The app shows I’m calling for heat at the set time and then says I stop calling, yet the boiler just carries on. I have the 3 wavy lines on the app constantly. Even if I turn the heating off. For example the temp is set at 17 and yesterday it heated to 24 before I turned the boiler off manually.
I have read lots of posts saying Tado may need to do something their end.
I have contacted them on the chat but no reply.
The only way I can turn my heating off is to switch off my boiler. Does anyone have any ideas please?

It sounds either like the extension kit isn’t being paired to bridge or it’s been wired in wrongly.1

Extension kit has the “breathing” light on where it fades in and out slowly. Which apparently means it’s working and they are all showing as connected on the app so i guess that means wiring then?0

There is a slim chance it could be a stock relay in the extension kit. You could try tapping it with a screwdriver driver handle to see if you can free it.0

Ok so I have had the rads turned to off on the boiler and off on the app (the app still showing 3 wavy lines) and they went off. Temp dropped to 17 and app still showing 3 wavy lines (max call for heat) Left the rads off on the app and turned them on on the boiler and they started heating.
I will ask my electrician Monday to check his wiring. As the thermostat, extension and bridge all show as connected and paired0
