Boiler heating without thermostat calling for heat
I observe a rather strange behavior of my system now:
Currently, the thermostat is in absence mode. Although the temperature is still higher than that I have programmed , the boiler turns on and the flow temperature as reported by the installer application is 86 C. Does not look quite normal...
I am not at home, but the outside temperature as reported by a weather application is 3 C. May it be that it is the boiler anti-freeze protection running? But why 86 C? The max flow temperature was set to 76 C using the boiler programming thermostat, and it does not seem to be respected anymore.

if you have a combi boiler and it's not sent on eco, then it will continually preheat water within the system. This means the boiler will periodically fire up and costs you about .70p to £1.00 a day also that is a very high flow rate temp just set it to around 50-60 takes a little longer to heat your rooms but saves you loads
