How do i control the Megaflow
Hi all
We, have Worcester system boiler (Greenstar 30i System ErP condensing boiler)
with Megaflo unvented indirect cylinder -model 210i
Central heating and Hot water is connected to Wireless Starter kit and two wireless thermostat- one for each floor
The radiators are all connected to Tado radiator valves except the bathroom radiators
However, the Megaflo is still connected to Honeywell ST9100C and operated separately
My questions are
- What to do i have to do replace the Honeywell connected to Megaflo?
- Is there a way to monitor/adjust the temperature of Hot water? currently, i have only an on/off tile
- Is there a way to monitor/adjust the temperature of Megaflo
Thank you in advance
Amin

1. If you’re controlling the hot water with the Tado app, I don’t see what the Honeywell controller is doing. Do you set hot water temperature on it? It might have been easier just to leave it in circuit set to always on.
2. You can’t adjust hot water cylinder temperature through Tado due to the way it’s wired.
3. Maybe that’s why the Honeywell controller is still there? Or is there a thermostat on the cylinder?0 -
Thank you Johnny. your comments were helpful and i investigated some more
Agree that Tado cannot control the HW temperature as we are using older system and not digital. for the moment, it is on and off
Regarding Megaflo
Honeywell is just acting as a timer- 7 day schedule - currently on 2 hours x 2 per day
Your are right - It appears that the temperature is set internally by the Megaflo system. It also activates non TRV radiators in the bathroom as they get hot at the same time.
Then, the question, Can a wired Tado starter kit be used as a on/off switch with scheduling and the temperature controls be disabled?
An older extension kit is available for HW in eBay!- is that suitable?
Thank you for your help

Can you control hot water on your Tado app at the moment? That’s what you said in your first post - “Central heating and Hot water is connected to Wireless Starter kit and two wireless thermostat- one for each floor”
If it can, that’s the best you can have. If it can’t, you can probably rewire your current wireless receiver so it can but it depends on the wiring of your Honeywell controller. You can’t control cylinder temperature with any Tado device and you can’t use a digital connection with a system boiler, which you have.0
