Hi all, I've fitted a trv on my bathroom rail upside down as in the picture attache. However the display is upside down of the valve. How do I correct this?

    @rickw If you've bought the universal mounting option then see here:

    If you've bought the older vertical mounting version, then you're out of luck.

    I changed it in the app from vertical to horizontal and it appears ok. Cant understand why as is not physically horizontal!

    It's do with the traditional mounting positions on a standard radiator.

    Valves mounted at the bottom of the radiator pointing upwards are considered "vertical".

    Valves mounted at the top of the radiator as below are considered "horizontal".

    The orientation of your thermostat (mounting thread Vs display) aligns to the horizontal configuration.

    Are you sure that’s a trv? You could probably put a Tado trv there but I doubt the temperature reading would be very accurate.

    Yes it's a drayton TRV. I did piu a tado on but it was not shutting the valve when room temp was reached so I figure valve is sticking . I've ordered a new corner valve body that will allow me to mount the tado horizontally to th left left of the radiator.
