Are thermostat and wireless receiver sold separately?
Good afternoon, I currently use Tado smart radiator valves with my non Tado wireless thermostat. I am planning to upgrade to a full Tado system and replace my current thermostat. As I already have a Tado hub can I buy the thermostat and the wireless receiver separately? I can’t find them on the add on section of the shop, just as a starter kit. Alternatively would the temperature sensor work as a thermostat paired with the wireless receiver? Do I really need to buy a new starter kit with a hub that I will not need? Thanks.

The items are sold individually in the professional shop (anybody can buy from there)

I'm a bit confused about the difference between the wireless smart thermostat and the wireless temperature sensor. I bought a starter kit with the wireless smart thermostat and 2 extra wireless temperature sensors. Looking in my devices and settings they are all showing the same as wireless temperature sensors. I have a vague feeling that the thermostat can call for heat directly but the sensor is only a measuring device. It may be that during configuration I dumbed my thermostat down to sensor mode as I had no need of an overall thermostat as I have smart valves on all the radiators. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in on this one.0
