Do the smart trv override the wireless thermostat

Hi so as typical in the uk I had my wireless thermostat in the small hall with no trv head fitted to the radiator and had a smart head fitted to the living room. Now the hall was getting too warm so I swapped the hall and living room around so hall had a smart head and living room had the thermostat and I was able to get the hall temperature down and the living room up a bit. So if the thermostat says it’s up to temperature and a smart trv calls for heat it will override the thermostat ?

    If your Smart TRV is not in independent mode then it will fire the boiler regardless of what the thermostat says if it’s below its own setpoint. You now have two thermo stat the highest wins to turn the boiler on. By turn the boiler on I mean within the timing on off pattern that Tado uses to keep heat In that particular room, it won’t turn it on permanently until temperature is satisfied it will pulse.
