TRV got mad after battery change

Hi all

I have a TRV VA02 which seems to be gone mad after battery replacement. I was away two weeks ago, I can't remember if the TRV was reporting low battery or not, but when I got back the TRV was offline.

I replaced battery, with alcaline batteries but the TRV did not switch on again. I though batteries, even if brand new, were bad so I bought a new box in a different store and replaced. No life sign.

I contacted Tado (which has not come back after 4 days) and left the TRV on my kitchen shelf. The day after the TRV was online, surprisingly.

I did not bother myself too much and I put the TRV back in place. Hours later was offline again. So removed batteries, waited time...no change, put them back and left the TRV on the shelf again, but no change.

Has anybody experienced similar behaviour? Shall I flag the TRV as gone and buy a new one?

Thanks
