Hi if I had the option to choose one of the above which would you recommend to work with Tado?

    When weather compensation is properly setup it will give the greatest saving. Whether you can use it in combination with Tado will depend on your brand of boiler.

    Boiler WC in combination with tado relay (not OT). Used it for over a decade (Viessmann v100). Flow temp seldom above 55C. Extremely efficient.

    Thanks I currently have weather comp on my ideal boiler but wanted to ask the question so i could swap if needed.

    I agree with @GrilledCheese2 - you'll get best efficiencies with WC.

    Thanks all I have been using wc for around five years now and I have only just bought Tado around four weeks ago so just wondering what to use, so for the time being I will stay with wc and see

    You can use Tado wired into relay to geofence for when you’re not there but def keep the weather comp.
