room not heating to desired temperature

Have set room to 10 degrees but all the rooms seem to have stopped heating once they’ve reached 9 degree. And why is one room showing as 17 degrees even though should be 10 degrees and heating should have changed about 8 hours ago?

  • My guess would be you're using smart TRVs?

Those stopping at 9 are likely anticipating overshoot.

Has the TRV in the room at 17 failed to stop heating at 10, or was it occupied and simply hasn't fallen back to 10?

Smart TRVs are flawed by their proximity to the radiators. They won't show the correct room temperature. You can experiment with them to get the room to the right temperature (i.e. go off the temperature on a room thermometer not the TRV). Or Tado now sell wireless room stats, which you pair to the TRVs to get an accurate temperature.
