"Unsupported device"

Options

Added a new smart TRV today to replace an old one lost during refurbishment. It pairs successfully easily but states "unsupported device" in rooms and devices. It does not allow me to assign it to an existing room or change any of it's properties. I have 9 rooms with wired and wifi thermostats, and 6 tado smart TRVs in all rooms which are not wired . I have reset it several times with same result.

    I think that you should contact Tado Support to get them to check on your system.

    Just for the benefit of anyone else who comes across this issue - for me this was fixed just by updating the Tado app on my phone. Took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that one out!
