Megaflow hot water temperature control

Hi,
I currently have a megaflow unvented cylinder that is controlled by a Honeywell evohome including temperature (has its own probe). If I switch to a tado can I still control the temperature (not fussed about seeing it) or will I need to purchase a new cylinder stat?
