Geofencing problem

Hi. My geofencing doesn't seem to recognise when I'm away until I actually open the tado app on my phone. I've checked my settings and I'm pretty sure they are what they're supposed to be. Once the app is open it doors switch within a second or so without any further action. t's like tado app needs to be prompted to do a location check. I'm using a Samsung s8.

The same does not happen in reverse. It automatically switches to home when I get home. I'm going to assume that it's because it recognises my home wifi.

Any advice would be most welcome.

The common reason of this is battery optimization. You may want to whitelist tado app in your Samsung battery optimized apps.
