Hello,

I have a Vaillant EcoTEC Pure VUW 236/7-2  and the tado Wireless Smart Thermostat V3+. I did all the wiring on eBUS as per tado manual with the D07 config code (https://cdn.brandfolder.io/607DGEMS/as/j4mjvsgpjtghjkm57fkx5q7h/104204-DIGITAL-WRB01IB01-INSTALLER_MANUAL-TA-EN-00-V3.pdf).

Now, everything looks fine, but I am wondering if there are additional settings that I need to change on the boiler itself. I am asking this because I noticed that tado "requests" heat but the boiler simply ignores that command for a while and then, eventually, it will start.

Am I missing anything? Thanks!

    How long is a while?

    I would say 3-5 minutes. I never timed it, but it is for sure in the 'minutes' and not 'seconds'.

    I don’t think that’s uncommon. Anything longer than that and it might be a sign that something’s wrong though.

    Hm OK, thank you for your reply! I was under the impression that the heating will start as soon as the thermostat requests it +/- few seconds.

    I will keep an eye on it and update this thread.
