Does the thermostat shut the valve when no rads are calling for heat?

My thermostat is in the same room as a radiator. If I have a smart thermostat on the radiator and it is set at a lower temperature than the wireless smart thermostat will the thermostat shut off the valve or still be calling for heat even though the radiator has shut off?

Yes, put Tado trvs in the other rooms and they will continue to call for heat after your room with the thermostat in reaches target temperature until they do.

  • You set a temperature for the room, usually with the smart thermostat as the measuring device, so there’s no conflict.
  • There are other rooms in the same zone controlled by this thermostat. These other rooms are always colder than the room with the thermostat so I'm wondering if a Tado system will solve my problem?
  • It's an air to water system. And I'm not sure if Tado is the right solution for me
  • Probably better to ask Tado support, it may not be compatible.
