MANUAL TEMPERATURE CHANGE TIMER FAIL

All my "rooms" are set to resume manual changes "after an hour". Today any changes are actually showing "until next time block".

Anybody had this problem? or any knowledge of it?

    You can see here that the manual setting is set to resume after one hour.

    You can also see that an actual manual change says it is set to resume ate next block. In this case 2hr 34mins 29secs.

    Can I ask TADO what is going wrong?

    @Folkranger can I ask how you instigated your manual change today? Was it on the physical tado device or through the app?

    The reason being is there's too distinct modes:

    The option buried in the settings is to set a manual control duration when using the physical tado device - i.e somebody spinning the SRT head or pressing the wireless/ wired thermostat buttons to adjust the temperature, where they do not have the ability to specify duration.

    If you used the app to switch on a room, then it will remember the last option you chose when you last adjusted a room using the app. So if you click the pen icon, you can set the duration to an hour. Next time you adjust that room in the app, the default will be an hour.

    OK so I've figured this out.

    When a manual change is made on the device it lasts for the time set in settings.

    When a change is made in the app it lasts until the next time block (but the time for that one-off manual temperature change can be lengthened or shortened in the app.

    Can't see why the app doesn't default to the time period set in settings - would avoid a lot of confusion, keep things simple. It could still be edited in the app at the time.

    @GrayDav4276 I could say that's another problem with Tado. I've answered my own question long before I get someone else's comment even though their's was posted first. I had one yesterday came in 2 hours after it was posted.
