Heating rooms individually without having to turn on main thermostat
Just need a bit of help please, just installed the tado kit and trvs yesterday, all works fine but I'm struggling with one thing.
Can I just slide up in the app let's say for bedroom 1 and then the boiler gets triggered and turns on?
Right now I am having to do the following:
Turn up the main thermostat and then turning up the temp for what room I want heating.
Thank you

@Abdultado it sounds like your radiator thermostats are acting in independent mode.
Go to Settings, Rooms and Devices and click the name of each room. Scroll to the bottom and select Zone Controller. Set this to the device that's physically wired to your boiler. This will enable those rooms to ask that device to fire the boiler.

Hi, thanks for the reply!
They are all set to the zone controller correctly. Anything else I can do?0 -
What happens when you turn up the temperature of a room in the app?0

Can you confirm what exctly you've installed?
- Bridge
- multiple TRVs
- Smart Thermostat. wired or wireless?
- Wireless Receiver/Extension Kit
I'm assuming the above list is correct. If so, the TRVs AND the Smart Thermostat need to have the wireless receiver/extension kit set as the zone controller.
If the smart thermostat is a wired version and doesn't have a zone controller, it'll still be operating in relay mode so the heating won't turn on unless it's activated. This was the issue I had when I first installed mine 3 years ago but was quickly resolved by setting all TRVs and the smart stat to have the extension kit as the zone controller.

Hey all,
Thank you for all your replies, I have managed to sort it.
Even though the zone controller was connected to the wireless receiver it wasn't registering so what I done was I had to click on "no zone controller" then press save, then go back into that option and then click on the wireless receiver, press save and then it registered.
Thanks again everyone!1
