Heating not automatically kicking in
Hi, so this is my problem:
- I have the full Tado setp up, smart thermostats on all radiators + thermostat + wifi receiver on boiler + internet bridge.
- I believe everything is connected into the same wifi network, as I am able to turn up and down the temperatures in individual rooms, via the app, which turns on the specific radiator thermostats.
- but, what is not happening is the system is not kicking in automatically according to the schedules I have created.
- for example, our living room is turned off most of the time, but is supposed to turn on for an hour at 0600AM and 1530PM... but it ain't.
- Same story for all the individual radiator thermostats. That is they all have schedules, but none of them are coming on automatically... ever.
Please help me :)

If you have manual control from the app then everything is connected. Automatic control is dependent on the geofencing status. Was this set to Home when you expected the schedule to run. You can check the history in the graph view for the living room.
Edit: Also check a zone controller is assigned to the TRVs, otherwise they won't call for heat.

Seems to have worked 💪

The fix was:
- what I noticed was that the 'error' LED on the boiler receiver was on
- a bit of Google-ing later and the most common fix was to...
- move the Internet bridge into closer range of the boiler switch
- I was able to do this as we have a couple wifi ports around the house, that I can plug an ethernet cable into
- problem solved
- so I assume that the wifi connection between the Internet bridge and the boiler receiver was not strong enough0
