Tado compatibility with Global Energy Systems ASHP's (Specifically Thurso 10Kw model)?

Hello all,

I see there are lots of questions regarding compatibility with specific ASHPs, but none relate to my particular brand / model. Does anybody have any experience with this combination of pump and controller?

I believe I'll need a 'wired smart controller' ? My existing GES controller has to remain as it does not allow for external control of DHW, only CH. Installation instructions of ASHP state the external controller (Tado) has to be wired back to the terminal in the heat pump itself.

I just wanted to see if there was any experience of this, advice tips, comments etc, before I embark into the unknown !
