Can't reassign my smart thermostat

Hello community,
I removed a smart thermostat from one room and want to assign it to another room.. However after I readded the device. It is created in a new room and it is not allowing me to assign it to the other desired room.. Any idea how to fix this

No need to readd, just go to rooms and settings, select the item. Click on room and select room you want
