How do I put this back together?

Possibly the dumbest question ever, but I have a tiny washer that has (I think) come out of the Wireless Receiver and I can't figure out where it's supposed to go back in. Could someone look at theirs and tell me?
It did say in the instructions not to remove the screw, so I only have myself to blame.

The square washer needs to be inserted into the slot from the rear of the receiver. It will be hidden behind the white plastic. Insert the screw through the square washer. The round washer is then threaded onto the end of the screw.
