Hi I am looking for a smart thermostat for a house in Ireland 230 volts. I have a oil boiler that is located in a shed outside the house. Inside my house I have a wired thermostat and separate timer which I can control my boiler from using either device. I do not want to run any wires from the outside shed to the inside of the house. I need something that I can control using my smart phone from anywhere in the world. Please advise on which products to purchase.

    Do you have a hot water cylinder and if so do you want Tado to control it? If so you’ll need the wireless receiver in place of the existing devices. If you just want to control the heating you can use a wired thermostat.

    If you want to do the install yourself you’ll need to replace both the timer and the thermostat. Tado support should give you customised instructions but if the wiring is complex it may be easier to get a professional to do it.
