U.floor Water Heating with Thermostat and Timer in one unit
I have TADO working fine for my Radiators (Zone1) with wireless thermostat and receiver.
I now want to replace my U.floor water (Zone2) by replacing the Hard Wired Thermostat with a TADO wired Thermostat.
The issue is that the old Wired Thermostat also has a built in timer. So when it calls for heat, it also triggers the boiler etc.
I have replaced this with the Tado Wired Thermostat. However, when turned on (Zone2) via the APP, this ALSO calls for heat from the Wireless Receiver - which in effect ALSO triggers the Actuator/Valve and turns on the Radiators (Zone1) as well as the U.Floor Heating.
Can the Zone 2 with Wired Thermostat be configured to NOT call for heat from the wireless receiver. Hence - just use the Wired Thermostat "NO".

I fixed it.
I used this link https://support.tado.com/en/articles/4836146-my-smart-thermostat-is-not-shown-as-a-zone-controller-what-can-i-do
I did the opposite to what you would expect. In the APP, under settings for the Wired Thermostat, I changed the settings from a Zone controller, to a Thermostat. This stopped it from calling the boiler on the Wireless Receiver. Only the Thermostat was used.
