Can I connect a V3 Internet Bridge to my system (possibly a V1)..?

Options

I have an installation that I've been using for years with no issues, but I would like to access Homekit support, which I believe is only possible with a V3 Internet Bridge.

My current Internet Bridge, Thermostat and Extension kit show no version numbers so I assume they are version 1.

However, I have several Tado TRVs installed and working which apparently isn't possible with V1:

https://support.tado.com/en/articles/3403569-what-is-a-tado-starter-kit-and-what-are-the-differences-between-versions

So I am really confused as to what version I currently have and whether I can connect a V3 Internet Bridge to it.

The support page (https://support.tado.com/en/articles/3392818-how-do-i-perform-the-upgrade-from-my-current-bridge-to-the-homekit-enabled-internet-bridge) says:

"If you own a Starter Kit V2, you can replace your existing Bridge with the HomeKit-enabled Internet Bridge."

Then says:

"If you already have an earlier version of the Bridge installed, you can upgrade to your new HomeKit-enabled Internet Bridge in three easy steps" and then details the steps in the app

But does not make it clear if this applies to a V1 system.

I tried online chat, but that crashed and will not re-open, I have emailed support but who knows when they will answer? So I am hoping someone on here has an answer for me.

Thanks in advance

If you are using smart TRVs then you definitely don't have a V1 system. Also, the V1 thermostat was powered by a solar cell, so if your thermostat is all white (no black panel on the front), then it's V2.
