OpenTherm Water Temperature
Hi there,
today I have bought new boiler (Baxi Duo-tec Compact E 24) which supports OpenTherm and is connected by wire to Tado Smart Thermostat.
Hot water control for washing hands is regulated by temperature setted up in Tado App and cannot be regulated in boiler - which is correct.
Hot water going to radiators also cannot be regulated manually on boiler so I expect it's also regulated by Tado. But the temperature is in maximum possible boiler temperature (80"C). I expect it should be lowered according to outside temperature. Is it paid function? Or is it neccessary to set up something else in Tado app?
THX.

The heating output should modulate according to demand and outside temperature, however it’s likely to start at the maximum flow temperature of 80c. To get this changed contact Tado support and tell them you’d like a lower maximum flow temperature. Below 55c is the most efficient.0
