Been using the Tado TRV thermostat radiator valve to control the TRV for about 5 years now. At the time of using this setup I did have a concerned about wearing out the TRV valve components.
The TRV valve is now causing the radiator to rattles when it is closing and opening. Sometimes it rattles when it is open.
The TRV valve has been replaced now and the problem has gone resolved.
I hope people are aware of this problem when the TRV valve components are worn due to opening and closing. So if your radiators started to rattles then it's time to replace the TRV valve.
