Problem with bridge power connection

My bridge only works if the usb power connection is pushed across sideways. I've jammed something between the two plugs and it is usually OK but occasionally it still stops working. Is this a common problem or do others have it? Do you think Tado would replace my bridge for one that doesn't have this fault?
