Good Morning

I'm looking at replacing my current wireless thermostat Salus RXRT505 with this Tado V3+ Black Edition Wireless Heating & Hot Water Smart Thermostat Starter Kit | Wireless Thermostats | Screwfix.com my boiler is a Baisi Riva Advanced HE. Would this be a simple enough swap? I'm slightly confused by Hot water and non-Hot water; I have a combi boiler so no separate water tank so it's making me question whether the above is suitable.

I'm no good a DIY so I will have to get someone in to do this - is there a list of approved installers? I'm in based in Lancashire, North West.

Thanks in advance.

  • Yes you’ll be fine. Hot water control doesn’t need to be wired in on combi boilers. You could also consider getting an eu version of the wireless starter kit, which has Opentherm and would allow the boiler to modulate its heating output.

I don’t know if there is a list of approved installers but if you look under care and protect in the app, it gives you a list of local installers.
