Can anyone help with why I have this wire from terminal A to C. I have another thermostat upstairs which is wired the same.

    I see no reason for the link wire. A = Live/COM and B is CH NO. If you remove the short wire I'm pretty sure your original thermostats will continue to operate normally.

    So after several emails with Tado, was advised to ignore this extra wire. 2 thermostats installed and working fine. Yay.
