Tado not compatible
I have a Worcester Greenstar 30CDi Classic System with an external water tank and want to get a Tado system. The hot water is controlled via the panel on the boiler and the central heating is controlled via the wireless thermostat (pictures attached). I've been told that this isn't compatible with Tado because I need to control my hot water separately so need dual relay and Tado is only compatible with single relay. Is there anything I can do to make my system compatible (short of replacing the boiler which I won't be doing)?
Thanks, AyBee

It's not easy switching from a manufacturer's proprietary controls to generic controllers like Tado and Nest. You don't need to replace the boiler, but you would need a heating engineer to disable the current programmer and setup the system for use with alternative controls. It's going to cost a bit of money so you may want to wait until it's time to replace your boiler.0

There’s a slim chance you might be able to control both with Tado if your hot water’s controlled (or can be) via ebus/Opentherm but you’ll need to have a look at the wiring, and also make sure you get a Tado wireless receiver that’s compatible - the EU version or the older extension kit.0

Thanks both. Helpful, although I was looking forward to being able to remotely control it all with Tado.

You might need to look at something like genius or evohome, though I don’t know much about either.0
