Completely lost
New to this but very excited about it.
I have a big old house with an old kerosene boiler wired to a 3 channel controller in the house.
1.Underfloor heating downstairs (wired multi zone thermostats)
2. Underfloor heating upstairs (wired multi zone thermostat)
3. Water thanks
I was reading that tado don’t support 3 channels. I will not mind merging the 2 heating zone into 1 and have the hot water on channel 2,
I will like to keep my wired multi zone thermostats, as I find them very helpful.
My questions are.
1Do I need a wireless receiver to b able to control hot water?
2 if I install wireless receiver, can I keep Tado smart wired thermostats?
3 is it difficult to change the wiring of my 3 channel controller (channel plus 375xl) into 2?
Thanks for all the help

Correct, Tado do not have a device to replace a 3 channel programmer - it's a small portion of users who have this requirement.
Q1. Yes you need a wireless receiver to control hot water, but see below.
Q2. Yes in theory you can continue to use the wired thermostats without making use of the wireless sensor.
Q3. It is fairly easy re-wire a 3 channel programmer for a single heating zone. You simply need to join the two wires for zone 1 and zone 2. However, it will be far more efficient to keep the 2 heating zones.
If I was in your position I'd retain the existing 3 channel programmer and purchase 2 Tado wired thermostats, plus the internet bridge. You replace the existing thermostats to get get smart control of the under floor heating, but continue to control the HW as you do now. Switching off the HW when you leave home is not always a benefit; it's possible you could come home to a cylinder of lukewarm water. Although I would recommend manually turning off the hot water when you go away on holiday.
To use a 3 channel programmer with the Tado thermostats you will need to set the programmer schedule to Constant (24HR) for both heating zones. Each Tado thermostat will obviously take control of your new schedule. Programmer wiring will be unchanged.
