Internet Bridge does not connect

Hello I have just purchased the tado kit and try as I might cannot get the bridge to connect to the internet. I only have the power light on.

I have tried different ethernet cables and the LAN port light on my router does not light up when the cable is inserted. If I plug a different device in the router detects the cable and the port illuminates.

I have tried a couple of routers they are both 4G devices one being a vodaphone Gigacube and the other a Huawei Three device.

Any suggestions?

    Maybe your router does not detect the 10 Mbit half duplex ethernet the internetbridge uses. Check your router documentation.

    Considering that @Flameout has tried a couple of routers his device may be simply faulty. Huawei devices should recognize tado° bridge with ease.

    Try more routers, if no luck go for warranty.

    I took it to my neighbours house plugged it in did not work there either so I returned for replacement. New bridge connected instantly.
