Manual override following loss of power/internet
Hi,
I have been using TADO for some time now and its great. However, yesterday for the first time, I experienced a problem.
Having lost the power supply to my router overnight (blown fuse) my heating failed to come on as expected.
Everything eventually worked fine once power had been restored but it was very cold until then.
Is there a manual override which would have allowed me to turn my heating on even though my wifi was inoperative?
TIA

The radio link between the room thermostat and the receiver is not WiFi. The two devices will continue to communicate when the router is off and you can make manual adjustments.

You simply use individual devices to make manual changes to the temperature.

I believe removing the batteries from the SRT will cause child lock to be temporarily disabled. A bit of a faff but I guess if you’re desperate for heat you can go around and unmount some of the devices.

No child locks on my system.
I have no radiator controls just the room thermostat which connects wirelessly to the central heating boiler. Adjusting that when there is no internet just would not work, would it?
