Installed for three days and has dropped connections 4 times not impressed

After spending over £1000 on a system and moving the bridge to several locations non greater than 15m from the farthest valve or receiver, the system has dropped connections four times. Before I send it back to Amazon, does anyone else have this problem ?

is your Bridge vertical pointing upwards, this can help. Also try keep it way from anything metal, and place on lower floor, so it radiates upwards.

But to answer your question yes, some people have this issue, see here https://community.tado.com/en-gb/discussion/4783/launch-a-range-extender-or-upgrade-to-mesh-network

Yes it is and it is upwards, we have moved it 5 times and at no time is anything more that 12 to 15m away max.

We are trialling Tado compared to Honeywell Evohome and so far the Honeywell system is far more reliable

To have five drop outs in 3 days would mean 3 visits to our customer premises under warranty that would be £ 200

What really worries me is that this only does the ground floor of the premises, to do upstairs would be another £700 ( and a second bridge and receiver ) and we expect perfection at that price.

In technical user app terms the Tado system is better than Honeywell, In quality terms very poor

    Very poor indeed

And what is this ten device limit ? how do we fit our twelve radiators and two remote thermometers on the system - this is nuts

    Update

The householder has told us to remove the same

Tado only really works reliably with small homes with no walls. There is a feature suggestion for a repeater (long thread) which would fix these issues. Post support there.
In respect to the other floor, tado can only support 1 bridge on the app. So to operate 2 bridges would need 2 separate phones/devices each with the app. There is also a feature request to allow tado app to work with multiple bridges/homes.
Device limit is 25 I think.
The 10 limit refers to how many devices can directly call for the boiler, so for instance the lounge and kitchen will be 2 of those 10 but the toilet and utility can be left not calling the boiler independently.
    Hope that helps.
